Certain people completely embody the word adventure. Litton went against the norm, and dismissed the more common use of inflatable tubes down the Colorado River and instead stuck with the Dories that he felt were the way the Grand Canyon should be traversed.
Along with his famed captaining of Dories down the river, Litton also was a forerunner in conservation and making sure those after him would have the same white water opportunities he loved. A new documentary is making waves as it takes close look at Litton’s legacy. The film is available in select locations now, but it will be available everywhere on June 1st. We’ll let you know. For now check out the trailer.
